Chocolate Dipped Salted Nut Roll Bars
Crunchy cookies, granola and peanuts are topped with creamy marshmallows, peanut butter and chocolate for a decadent treat. I used nonstick foil and had no problem with it sticking. My family and church ladies loved the bars. Kitchen Tested. Prep 15 min Total 45 min Servings By Betty Crocker Kitchens. Ingredients Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies. Steps Hide Images.
Line bottom and sides of 13x9-inch 3-quart glass baking dish with foil, leaving foil hanging over 2 opposite sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray. In food processor bowl with metal blade, place cookies. Cover; process until cookies are finely chopped. In 2-quart saucepan, cook marshmallows and butter over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
Press in bottom of baking dish. In medium microwavable bowl, microwave milk and peanut butter chips uncovered on High 30 seconds. Stir; microwave 30 to 60 seconds longer, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and creamy. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Stir in peanuts and crushed granola bars. Spread over chocolate layer. If peanut butter mixture starts to set, microwave uncovered on High 15 to 30 seconds or until warm and spreadable.
Drizzle chocolate diagonally over peanut butter layer. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until set. To cut bars, remove from pan, using foil to lift.
Cut into 8 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in cool place. Expert Tips. Your favorite cocktail peanuts or dry-roasted peanuts can be substituted for the honey-roasted peanuts. To easily crush granola bars, leave them in the pouches. Gently pound with meat mallet or rolling pin to break them up. You can also crush the cookies with a rolling pin, if you prefer. Just crumble them into a large food-storage plastic bag and roll with a rolling pin.
Instead of using cooking spray to spray the foil, try using nonstick foil. Trademarks referred to herein are the properties of their respective owners.

Rate and Comment. The mixing of the marshmallow with the other ingredients was quite difficult, put in the blender with the cookie crumbs and let the blender help.
The finished product was very good. So what Save us from your ridiculous posts that just take up space! Has anyone tried using marshmallow fluff instead of the marshmallows? The cost of the ingredients was a bit much for a homemade recipe. I t I did not use honey roasted nuts just regular and they were still delicious.
I will make these again! These were pretty easy to make and were really good, except when we melted the marshmallows they stuck to the oreo crumbs so it was really hard to mix the crust mixture. I wonder if using marshmallow fluff and melting it a little would work better. They ended up pretty hard on the bottom. Other than that, they tasted good.
We will probably make these again but not melt the marshmallows so much. This is an easy recipe.. Had problems with my marshmellows melting and than combining with cookie crumbs This recipe caused my family and co-workers to literally drool!
I cannot say enough about how tasty this combination of ingredients are. I recommend coating your hands with butter or cooking spray to press the crust into the bottom of your baking dish, and I did not use my microwave. I prefer the stovetop, but that's just me. I didn't have any issues with my squares sticking. The butter in the recipe did the trick. I would like to try these using my granola cereal. How much do you suppose I should use to equal the crushed granola bars?
These sound awesome. Thanks for your help out there! These were a big hit. Did not use the peanuts, but did use more pnut butter! They were a big hit!
Giant Chocolate Candy Bar with Peanuts and Nougat
The iconic chocolate bar of peanut-studded caramel and nougat is all about chewiness. Transforming that small bite into a giant layered treat means keeping the same flavors, but whipping up nougat fluffy enough to eat by the forkful with soft peanut-studded caramel. Epic fail. Everything came together as it should - spanning 3 days with all the overnight settings.
Cookie salad is one of the Midwest's greatest innovations, and the star of "Girl Meets Farm" has a great recipe for making it. Molly Yeh has lived in East Grand Forks, North Dakota for five years, and that has been more than enough time to expand her definition of "salad" to include chopped-up baked goods. While most of us already know that salads don't always include vegetables, only some of us know that salads can include Yeh , whose forthcoming Food Network series "Girl Meets Farm" debuts Sunday, June 24, will feature recipes inspired by her Chinese-Jewish roots and upper Midwestern life on a farm, including cookie salad, and she gets excited just talking about it. It's kind of ridiculous.

The Minnesota State Fair is something my family talks about and looks forward to all year long. Opening its gates for 12 days, ending on Labor Day, the fair is the sweet cherry that tops our summer adventures. You must never skip the animal barns! Airline cookies are a weary traveler's cinnamon-spiced savior. If you're a fan of Yeh's award-winning blog , you'll recognize her whimsical decorating style, which takes her speculoos spread-based cake to a festive next level—but feel free to go with a simple frosting layer if that's more your style. Recipe adapted from Molly Yeh. Grease a 9-byinch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and line the bottom with parchment. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
